    Default Battle editor....

    I managed to create about proximately 19 Historicaly accurate lore battles and still making more, i do everything correctly and whenever i try to play them it gets to the loading screen so far so good then when it says start deployment i get an error message saying something about encountered a error cant remember what it said but anyone can help?

    I think it may help you look up the error message again and post it first

    No, no. I'm saying its helpful, because it tells us that there's something wrong with your medieval 2 and that its unspecified

    yeap i need some help lol still get that error saying medieval 2 tw has encountered and unspecidfied error and will now exit everytime i correctly use battle editor. im just not sure what the problem might be. it is a siege battle and my other siege battle map i downloaded from another user worked perfectly its just my battles that seem to crash out.

    Your error log... go to your error log under Medieval II Total War/logs and open it...
    PS: I think there might be a tutorial for the mod workshop on this, also if you're using the additional units mod that might be the problem (I have a really bad headache so I'm forgetting why exactly). Mmmm other problems might include lack of a battle map (you have to specify coordinates, if they don't exist then that would cause a crash) and um, besides that I'd check to make sure all your standard custom battles are working.

    ok thank you will check that out now, and yep im using additional units mod

    Nothing in the log? If not I suggest posting your file here and somebody (maybe me if I get time) will get around to seeing the problem.

    I'm no expert, but the problem seems to be a building that shouldn't exist being used for Mordor and OOTMM.

    yh earls stables not allowed for thos efactions so those buildings on the batles won't work

    I recieved the same error, but on a custom battle,Silvan elves vs OOFTM on hills of the riddernmark (?) just a normal open battle, no settlement
    I also have darthmod, real combat (additional units) and visual improvements if that makes a difference

    This is the problem, you need to remove stables from the buildings in the castle.
