Clever Crows

Here's a cool video a friend linked to me. Its a lecture a guy gives about a vending machine he designed for Crows. But it actually asks a deeper question, "How can we live better with animals that are around us every day?"

Would be neat to see worker Crows around, but I think there would be enough yelling about taking advantage of and abusing these animals that we'll never know if we could 'work' together. Interesting idea though.

Sometimes it seems the really innovative, interesting, and thoughtful threads are the ones that die a short, thin life, whereas threads arguing about superheroes tights or *Is God a Rapist?* go on for weeks.

Oh well, I suppose everyone knows how clever crows are.

However, after viewing this, I see the crows around where I live in a whole new light. I always just saw them as large Pigeons. Makes me want to try to see if I can train them to do something. I'll just try not to annoy them too much in case they do indeed remember well enough to spot me and make my life miserable.
