Will vanilla exe saves play with BI.exe?

Hi,

I saw that DVK has said 2.0 will play on BI.exe. I have that but not installed it. I installed RS 1.5c onto RTW 1.5.

I know that if I install BI, I will need to upgrade it to 1.6 take a copy and then install RS again.

If I do that, will the saves from my current campaign work OK?

I know that 2.0 will probably need a clean install anyway so that isn't germane to this question, just really a case of whether I would gain anything significantly by upgrading to BI and if so, would my saves from current campaigns work on the BI.exe or not? If not, then I'd rather stay with the RTW.exe and finish my campaign on that unless BI gives enough of a boost to make it worth doing. I'm not so far along that I couldn't restart but I'd rather just play on vanilla if I don't gain that much.

You'd need to reinstall RS on a clean RTW/BI 1.5/1.6 install as per the installation instructions. If in doubt refer to those.

A save game from RTW exe will work with BI.
