CTD DURING AI TURNS

I am playing the german mod "Reconquista" and the game crashes to desktop during the ai turns
I have tried un-installing and reinstalling the mod, on the most part the mod is stable. but this ctd bug is random it can happen 100 turns or 300 into the game! this ctd event never happened when I played the mod in its native tongue of german but now I have installed a translation (which were just a couple of files I put in and overwrote in the text folder) can someone enlighten me to why the game crashes inbetween my turns and never at any other point? also important to note everytime I try, after too continue campaign same ctd but it is totally fine if I start a new campaign,so I am quite confused???

Please keep in mind this forum is for general technical issues dealing with the original game and its updates. The first question would be was the game stable before applying the mod? If yes, then this needs to be addressed in the mod's forum. In no then, realize this game does have random ctds even in Kingdoms version 1.05.
