    The Good:
    Fighting scenes
    and uhm... fighting scenes?

    The Bad:
    - No blood!! They stabbed eachother so many times and there was no blood.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
(They only showed blood once, and that was when they were faking the womans death, which was stupid since people in that movie clearly don't have blood anyway.)

    - "Only adamantium bullets can harm him" (PS. Throwing a rock at a rock doesn't work unless you throw it really hard. It must've been a nuclear powered revolver....)
    - The big fat pointless scene with the big fat dude.
    - The whole movie was so mediocre in my opinion that there isn't really much to say about it. It reminded me of a South Park episode called "The Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer" where Russel Crowe went "Fightin' 'round the world"

Glad someone liked it though I only went to see it because it was the only one I hadn't seen from the current selection of movies

It was interesting, gave a nice back story to his character, and was certainly entertaining.

But it was deinfitely not on par with the first X Men movie. It had too much "Fightin' 'round the world" and not enough substance.

I enjoyed it, but i wouldn't say it was particularly good.

The fight scenes were good, and most of the humour tickled me (especially the Blob/bub bit).
Even the plot of the movie itself I was fine with (though I did find myself, several times, asking why 'he' ((which could be one of 3 or 4 different characters)) didn't just kill 'him' ((same again)) on the spot)

What blew it for me was how completely different from the classic marvel universe it was. Using Paul Jenkins Origin series, dear lord! Silverfox is you-know-who's sister?!
As for Deadpool... well, let's hope his own film is better.
    Life, go easy on me

Then I weighed him I said, “Holy ****!” because he weighs 900,000,000,000,000,000 tons. That amazing weight made me say the “S” word.

I'm going to watch it in about an hour from now (19.45 showing) Verry curious! Gambit is in this one isn't he? I missed his cajun accent in these movies! I hope they didn't do to him what they did to Rogue

The good: Seeing the trailer for transformers 2

The bad: lack of Blood, Gambit not having a Cajun accent, some plotholes especially at the end

for instance: warning don't open spoiler tag if you didn't see the movie:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Xavier shows up in the end, and picks up all the mutants, he should have known that Logan was there, he could and should have picked him up and fixed his memory, it's in his do good nature, doesn't make sense he didn't, also scot summers never speaks of these events in later movies, and dislikes Logan but he should know logan saved him here, some mutant must have told him, it's in peoples nature to speak of these events

they made an obvious point of showing that scott was blindfolded. If he opens his eyes he fires lazers, remember? Why would anybody tell him? And why would he assume it was this jerk he met 20 years later?

anyawy, flimsy reason for not liking something. You're trying too hard not to like it.

It was a perfectly serviceable film, even if it didnt exactly correlate down to the nth degree with the work it was based on.

Awful movie, it was rushed and most characters were one dimensional, they could have done a better job with the new X men but screwed up big time. I was really disappointed

I disagree in human nature we tend not to speak of certain things for fear of the events that might occur. Even Xaiver never spoke of the Phoenix which he should have because then the X-Men would've been prepared.

Are you kidding, when something happens, I find that people can't seem to shut up about it

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
If I was rescued with a bunch of others from mutant concentration camp, I'm pretty sure plentyy of us would not shut up about it, i know I'd speak of it the first hours in the chopper with all the other saved ones

Yeah but remembering it 20 or so years later I don't think after 5 anyone would even think about it.

Seriously, I've had important things happen to me when i was 15 or 16. I might THINK about them once or twice a month, at max, and I certainly TALK about it with somebody far less than that, like once every couple of years. And then lets say there's a camera on me for something that i'm doing at the moment that is totally unrelated to what i was did then, it most certainly wouldn't come up.

EDIT: It was irrelevent to the later plots. That's why it never came up.

I don't know, I allmost died some 7 years ago in a car accident, 2 friends died in it, and I still talk about that at least once every month if not to a person, then to myself or my cats, heck, I find myself constantly thinkin it happened maximum 3 years ago, when in fact it's been 7

When stuff happens you don't simply forget, and you remember the details others told you about it.

it's human nature, some people can't stop whining about that one time they had a bloody nose when they where 5 for instance

I just saw this last week...while I didn't think Origins was that great...especially not on par with say...Last Stand or the original trilogy in general...it was still pretty entertaining.

The biggest draw back for the film though was it's lack of character development for anyone NOT Wolverine...which is something we got oh so used to with the original X-men titles...so...while there were lots of characters (both semi-consistent and cameo ones) they all sort of felt two dimensional.

The fight/action scenes were great if not sometimes over the top, I LOVED the opening where it shows Logan and Victor tearing up from the Civil War to Vietnam, and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was just as badass as ever. I also liked the new look for Sabretooth as opposed to what he looked like in the original X-men movie...which was something only one step down from a Wookie.

However, there are a good bit of plot holes that never get filled...for one...it never explains why people start calling him Logan...it just sort of happens. From what I know in the comic book Origins story he takes the name b/c it's the name of the groundskeeper that killed his father....but they make no reference to the origin of the name in the film. They also made Sabretooth and Wolverine brothers...not true.

But anyway...it was still a solid and extremely entertaining film.

I had to laugh though...and for that matter anyone who ever played the game Army of Two had to laugh out loud when Victor and Logan yelled "Back to back!" every time haha.
