computer requirements

okay i've never played RS before but having seen some of the screenshots and listneing to the podcast it has caught my attention (ooo.. pretty colours).
But what i'm wondering is how much of an extra demand will it have on my computer resources - because some of those units and battlegrounds look fairly intense

Well I dont have a great computer for gaming, but my RS still looks very good so im sure it will on yours too, In fact I think RS plays better than other mods on my comp. So I doubt it that you will have problems.

well I can run it pretty well and I'm on a non-gaming Laptop!

So if your PC/Desktop can run RS1.5 well, then you'll be good wit RS2, coz it doesn't cause too much of a hit on perforamce. This was one of the things the modders wanted to do if i recal correctly,

How simiar is it in specifically? Like I have a laptop and has a AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile Technology
lT-58, NVIDIA GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M, and 2G RAM, and I can play RS 1.5c on high settings. With all the new skins, awsome bckgrounds, and as well as the b*%#*ing campgin map, I think some people would like a specific requirement like how much RAM to run or processor and stuff like that because I want to play RS2 to its full, awsomeness, extent and be blown away from my seat 5 feet away from my laptop

Well I only have 512mb of RAM and I have no problems apart from when ive fought on heavily forested battlemaps ! Good news is im upgrading soon

I would say that make sure to upgrade your ram, that made huge differences for me (playing the RS II beta).
The best part of it is that ram is cheep.

So is 2G enough for RAM cause I also play EB1.2 and it only takes me 5-10 seconds each turn and seeing that alot of people say it takes 1-2 mintues each turn due to the scripts
