    Default NASA releases footage of the shuttle releasing the Hubble for the last time.

    This is kinda sad, since the shuttle is being discontinued and Hubble will never again be visited by it, but it is an awesome glimpse into what it is really like to work in space.

    I think they were over the Arabian Peninsula iirc.

    You know I think seeing things from inside the shuttle or even the space station would have to be the most amazing sight a person could ever see. Just look at the earth in the background, amazing. I could only imagine the guys who landed on the moon....two great achievements there the shuttle and Hubble, it will be a shame when both are no more but amazing creations. Imagine how utterly small one must feel seeing things from that pov, hell look how small we really are based on some of the images from the hubble, including the iconic Pillars one.

    I would just start crying if I peered out that little window, into the void and the Earth. It's amazing.
