I saw a submod making a unit of him like Sauron but I dont see him available yet, is there any mod out there that has him as a unit?

Play the game [TATW and as in campaign] and he's there
If you want him in custom battle, then MOS has it, and possibly some other

Loving third age, playing for quite a while now.
Today I saw the submod thread, but there are so many submods!
Can someone please tell with wich submod(s) I cant go wrong?
Many thanks.
MOS - gameplay mod adds new factions, changes many things lots of mod incorporated but less choice in which is used
Baron Samedis - Like MOS but NOTHING is forced, you choose what mini submods are activated at the start, has some very nice mini mods such as total recruitment where you dont have to wait for elites and many more. however doesnt radicalise the map as much by not adding dunland or a third elven faction.
both are viable and amazing in their own right. choose your favourite from their pages in the submod forum and instal it asap and you wont go back to vanilla again.

@Mac.Collac, check out the submod index is you haven't already done so.
Also, a small note, Baron's submod is not compatible with TATW version 3.2.
Thanks Stealthfox.
Are there any downsides regarding to the MOS submod?
Barons mod is great but the last released version, just im myown experience, though im not sure about others had some bugs in it. I wouldve loved to played the version before hand but you cant download that anymore and ive always kicked myself for deleteing it. Barons and MOS are really good so it depends on what takes your fancy...
MOS changes/adds a lot of stuff, and some people do not like everything that is added, so be sure to check all the changes/additions. With all of these changes comes lots of scripts that the game has to run. These scripts cause slower end turn speeds than vanilla TATW, so that's something to think about too.Originally Posted by Mac.Collac

While I do not concur with Gallus PCP is a good mod http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=355651
It's still much WIP though with parts not finished but fully playable and what's in (and that's a lot!) is really impressive
Concerning MOS I have a decent lap top and have end turn time of up to a minute. The massive content and many optional things mean you should not overlook it by default http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=419958
Look at it and go for what you feel appeal to you the most

I use, play, and mod MOS
Found it about 2 years ago and have not wanted for another submod since Concerning end turn times: It depends on your PC, a slower PC can expect end turn times of up to a minute or more. My own PC I believe handles it in around: 10-20 seconds. (it's been so long since I've played a campaign I can't remember)
There is no one to say you can't download MOS and PCP then play a few turns of a campaign and get a feel for both of them and then choose the one that you like more.

Yup, for multiple installations do like this: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=528275
Almost every submod has installation instructions in their OP, so just read trough the original post in the submod threads and it will tell you how to do.

Where do I begin? It adds beasts (bears, wolves, bats, eagles, drakes, fell beasts, you name it), around 20 new factions, custom made ruins, hundreds of new units, larger map, many campaign scenarios, new sripts, better looking campaign map,...
Downside would be that it's not completely finnished but then again a mod is never finnished. PCP is as playable as any other submod and adds that Middle-earth atmosphere that is missing in vanilla.
Hello all, can someone just quickly tell me if
Mos, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...26#post8827226
AOR, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=545161
and turtlemod http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=383258
are compatible?
many thanks in advance
