is a hotseat.
I'm not sure this is the right place to put it, but:
I'm not able to play this modification, but a friend of mine is.
I went over to him to play, and he already had another friend of him there.
We decided to play hotseat all three.
Me:
Mordor
Isengard
Rhûn
Harad
Friend 1:
Dwarves
Silvian Elves
Friend 2:
Rohan
High Elves
The first thing I noticed when we started the game, was how awesome the intro video was. I was amazed, really.
Then we started the campaign. I was allowed to watch a little on the first turn with Rohan, but then I had to leave the room, and the good guys did their turns.
Then it was my turn.
I started off as Mordor, and I loved it! I had already seen the campaign map thing you posted here, and many screenshots, but it was nothing compared to the feeling I got while playing!
I did the usual stuff, recruiting and building, but I also gave myself time to look at the Black Gate, Minas Morgul and Barad Dûr on the campaign map. I simply love them!
In Mirkwood I sent a spy to the north to spy on the Silvian Elves, and it discovered a bandit settlement. I started recruiting, I was going to take it!
When I was done, another friend (of all three of us) arrived randomly. We decided he could have Isengard, since that wasn't so directly under Mordor's rule as Harad and Rhûn, and I was going to keep Mordor!
Some peaceful turns went by. Only one thing happened. The Dwarves sent me a message offering their loyalty. We had agreed to play by the book, but both the friend of mine playing Dwarves and I knew that Sauron did several attempts to get the Dwarves on his side. Tempting them with Rings and such. So I accepted. The guy playing Rohan and High Elves doesn't know yet. He's even allied to the Dwarves (with High Elves)... And Isengard doesn't know either. Why should they?
Now, I called an invasion on Hornburg to help Isengard out a little. Isengard and Rohan were about equal, come on! And in about one turn all my three factions had joined the invasion. Mordor still had huge armies left at home, which I gathered at Minas Morgul, and Harad had enough to defend themselves. Rhûn didn't have much, but they were the richest, and started to recruit a lot.
I also sent a fleet from Umbar to attack Gondor, and the Minas Morgul army marched onto Eastern Osgiliath, I took the settlement in Mirkwood (I don't remember the name), which is closest to the north.
Now, Rohan did a desperat attempt to attack Isengard, and left almost all of his cities and castles ungarrisoned. Stupid, because my army of Mordor entered Rohan on it's eastern borders the turn before (I got that lovely Rauros video...)
And that's about it. We're going to play more today. Rhûn is soon passing by the Black Gate, and moving into Rohan with their army, and Harad's army is in Northern Ithilien. More I don't know, I can see far, but I cannot yet see Eriador and Arnor.
I can just say: This is a really interesting campaign.
We're only at turn 7, it takes some time

Gonna get way more turns done today![]()
