    Default Four turns per year?

Is there a way to make Chivalry work with four turns per year? I finally was able to get this wonderful mod working on my laptop again, and I am most excited to play with the new patches (I have not been able to play since around the version 3.1 release, due to a problem with my laptop that I only recently resolved) and I was just wondering if there was a way to make this mod work with 4 turns per year, so that I could lengthen my enjoyment. I changed the setting to 0.25 years per turn in the descr_strat file, but the only thing that acutally progressed at 4 turns per year was the date. Winter was still every other turn, and characters aged at a pace of 1 year every 2 turns. Is there a way to get the 4 turns per year working like it does in EB so that winter comes only once ever four turns and it takes four turns for characters to age? If this is not possible, its no big deal, I still love this mod to death and am most excited to play it again, but if it is possible, I would love to play Chivalry II with 4 turns per year.

I would recommend going to the mod workshop and asking them about this there. They may even have a tutorial on what you're wanting to know. good hunting

Thanks! I was able to find a mod that gave me exactly what I wanted there. And so now that the length of each year has been doubled, I want to double the length of time it takes to build things, but when I went to the EDB file for Chivalry, there was a note at the beginning of the file warning not to modify that file. So I did nothing. So I just wanted to ask here if it would be safe to modify just the text that sets how long construction takes, or if even that should not be touched?

It was me who created the edb file structure since post-version 2.0 (iirc) - but not the recent updates since the 3.0 release.
And as for a lot complex changes, i wrote the sentence which you are recitating above.
That means, if a non-coder/modder has no knowledge and no overview how the edb file works, and thus won't understand all the changes and the partly interacting with other files, that he should not try to make changes, because of provoking bugs afterwards.

If you wanna change simply the building construction times, you can do that, without going danger to expect any issues.
While i'm not sure how your turn change-modding will interact with other files (scripts, events, traits, ancs etc.) - from my current view (but i'm not in ChivII:SV modding anymore), you will eventually provoke bugs anyway, if the turn-script won't fit properly into the existing file-mechanism structure.
I guess, SV himself might have a more reliable answer to your question.

Any chance for this exam? Very low, because the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.
