Post your favourite film soundtracks. The ones that just give you goosebumps whenever you listen to them, the ones that feel they are meant for more than a film.

Here is one that really hit a nerve with me, not just because I am Irish, this song in my opinion is immense.

Skipping about to 1:40 - this is the track called "Pursuit" from the film One Hour Photo. It's the scene which occurs after the increasingly unhinged Robin Williams character assaults a couple in a hotel room and takes humiliating photos. This is the music of the ensuing escape and him running through the halls in complete panic. It's pretty intense.

This one is the ending credits to Donnie Darko. No, this is not the Mad World track by Gary Jules. This is "For Whom the Bell Tolls", a dark, haunting operatic chorus.

The music at the end of the film "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". It's called Song for Bob. It culminates the tragic life's story of Robert Ford who desired greatness but found scorn from his murder of Jesse James.

From Blade Runner - End Titles. Vangelis is a genius:

From The Thing - Humanity Part II. Greatest horror film ever:

From The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - The Ecstacy of Gold:

From Titanic - Nearer my God to Thee (this part of the film brought me to tears)

If you like the Assassination of Jesse James tracks, you'll enjoy those of the Proposition. Both made by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, IIRC.

the end is fantastic of this song
