    Default Idealism

If you think that it is not important how much money you make and what progress you have in life, but you care only what you do and for a certain cause, is it idealism ?

    Is it doomed ?

Are you idealistic and how? How's it going with your cause ? Is it that difficult ? Is it enjoyable ?

I think this is a certain style that you inpose on your life. Otherwise it would be too cheap.

Well, it is important to make money, be it only to meet our social and individual responsibilities. Still, what is equally if not more important are the concerns we should all have regarding the natural enviroment we inhabit. We need seriousely to think about what can be done to preserve biodiversity and how we can balance our need for resources with that of other species (soil, water, energy, waste etc.). On the other hand, it is like with all ideas that matter. It is wise as well to hinder a formidable thought to slide away into an instrument of an ideology. Sapere aude, it is helpful to learn to listen and to come to judgements where reason and expericene coincide.

You are responsible for the world. With every action, you create the world. With every action, you define "what humans do". Walk as if the fate of the world depended on you and you alone, and the world will be a better place for it.

I used to think like that. But now not. Crappy stuff will aways exist and even -it will always be prevalent.

I used to be an idealist, I was down right romantic. But I became afflicted by the true source of man's inhumanity to man-WOMEN.

Oh the pain of it all, now I'm a debased cynic who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing.

Ideas are rooted in Divinity. They bring us back to our Creator. Everyone's a creator of his/her own life by thinking about ideas, so everyone is an idealist. There are no exceptions.

How could you know they don't have any ideas? They are connected to the Great Soul on a much deeper level.
