After being made aware of the heinous information that the Rome: Total Realism (RTR), SPQR and Europa Barbarorum (EB) sub-forums content was deleted as well as many posts from other areas I immediately ordered Sulla, as pro-Curator and acting Curator of TWC to take any and all actions necessary to ensure the protection of the site to the best of his ability. This entailed giving Sulla sole access to administrative powers and granting him carte blanche authority to protect the forums by removing ALL admin abilities from every other account (mine included). This and all changes implemented by Sulla are defensive measures intended to halt any further damage to the site and restore the situation to the control of the community.
If the general community has any issues with theses measures, after the situation is firmly in control I will resign from staff if a vote is called aganist me. Sulla however is NOT to be blamed for doing anything. He is doing exactly what I told him to do as I believe it to be in the best interest of this community. This is a thread about the evidence .
(old) UPDATE: We will revert the forums back to the last backup which is from Tuesday. This will happen in about 30 minutes and we expect that nearly all posts for today will be lost -sorry.
UPDATE: The forums have been restored with a minimum loss of threads. Many thanks to Mithras and Crandar for helping us resolve this complex issue in the best possible technical manner. Additionally many, many thanks to the moderator team for helping us to keep the community on the right path during these most difficult times.
Further for at least the next couple days I fully support Sulla retaining unquestioned "Emperor" powers over this site. If anyone has issues with this then see the first part of this post.
