BI tactics and formations in ExRM?

Ello, i heard somewhere on the forums that ExRM utilizes BI formations and tactics such as: night battles, swimming, hordes, and theshield wall and schiltrom formations. Although it is pretty convientent to have all this in one game, i cant seem to find any of these inclusions when i play ExRM. was it intended for version 3.4.1 of ExRM to disclude BI tactics and formations? if not, which units can do shield wall? And is schiltrom even used?

Night battles are available for RTW 1.5 as well as 1.6. The BI-only features were taken out of the later versions of ExRM, to make it compatible with 1.5. In any case, swimming, shieldwall and shiltrom weren't very useful features in practice. IIRC Quinn might be using hordes in the future though.
