Been following this mod for awhile now, and even bought kingdoms for it. Love it! I think this thread is a great idea and instead of debating its existence, people should just use it for what the creator intended or move on.

So here is the burning question that inspired me to register:

When I capture a settlement from another faction (say I'm silvan capturing a mordor settlement), are their buildings of any use to me?

Obviously I can't build orc units, but does an orc leather tanner give my troops better armor? Or should I just raze all buildings that belong to other factions?

You cant use armorys for anything for most units. Like 1 dwarf unit in the game gets an armory upgrade(Vault Wardens). Most you can use just like they where your own but some you cant. Like Troll cages
(if you dont have trolls)and stables (if your faction does not have cavarly)for example.

Also depanding on the citys culture you should build your cultural buildings when you capture a settlement to convert the culture to yours so you can train units and make the population happier over time.

Yes, since they're both enclosed by mountains, you can only take them if you cheat-move a character there

Why can't we do any armour or even weapon upgrades anymore???
I know the armoury only works for a few units, but we can't do any weapon upgrades at all......
I just loved to have my units boosted up to golden chevrons in experience, weapons and armour.
And as everybody has it, it would even out the odds and make it fair again.........

So having gold chevrons as weapon upgrades was in Rome ??? Maybe you are right... if that is so, that is a real shame as I loved upgrading them all....

Sword -> weapons
shield -> armour
Chevrons -> experience, higher morale, stamina and attack.

You can get bronze, silver and gold in every of those three.
