    Default Projectile Ranges

    Hey everyone,

I was trying to increase the heavy onager range to 350, which seemed to work until I exited the game, at which point I received an error message stating that the max. range for the big boulder projectile is 303.

Is there any way to increase the maximum range of a projectile? Or is this hard coded?

Also, is there a tutorial anywhere about making a new projectile?

You need to increase projectiles velocity in descr_projectile_new.txt in order to increase max range.

I don't think there is one, it's relatively simple to create a new projectile; just copy an entry, rename it, play around with the values you want, assign it to a unit in export_descr_unitx.txt, and there you go. Oh, and don't forget to add show_err.

    No worries about the thread.

    Pesto?

That's either a new brand of gravy or Esparanto for an annoying person...
