1) International relations system
Is it possible to implement the DOTS system showing international relations between countries? Very well presented it was in the game Europe Uniwersalis II:
-100 Points - mortal enemy
100 points - the best ally
It would help in planning a strategy in the game. Today, you never know when you can expect an attack.
2) Reputation system
The reputation system is very bad in vanillia game. How do You plan solve the problem in DOTS (unfortunately I did not find this anywhere)? In many other mods an negative impact on the reputation of all the "illegal" activities such as the use of assasins, spies, destruction of conquered cities, etc. It seems to me a bit too drastic.
For example, each assasin action ends in two ways:
- Success
- Failure
at each of this two results assasin could be discovered or not. Reputation should only be changed when the assassin or spy is discovered!
I often protects my cities with my own spies, and detects foreign agents. This should affect the reputation of a hostile country, and our relationship. Of course, in a properly fitting degree.
Change of reputation the agent's discovery in a city should be less effective than discovered an attempt to kill the king!
Pagans and Islamists
You should also take into account the medieval Europe that absolutely destroyed the pagans. Here you can use a solution from the Crusader Kings game where the killing of pagan tribes did not lead to loss of reputation!
