Help with loading eb v. 1.1

Im not exactly computer literat so simplest terms r appreciated.
so ive been trying to load eb v1.1 , and am having a problem.
I read Marcus Antonius' page on loading eb correctly with no avail.

I down loaded eb off filefront.
I deleted all remnants of rome ttw and any mods.
I loaded the new gold edition rome total war which is loaded with ver 1.5
When it was finished i made a copy of it in a new folder.
when finished I opened the eb files and they (mulitple aps. eb1.1, eb1.1(2) etc), showed up on my desk top. I the first time around tried to load it with rtw files in Program files, seeing ma's page, the second time loading it loaded it all in the copy folder.
When I finished I was unable to use EB.
I did use single player mod.
Idk how 2 take pics of my screen.
Im am unsure what2 do.
I love eb, ive never had problems loading in older version.

Ehm, assuming you installed it correctly... can it be, that you didn't tick the trivial script thing before the installation?

If not, just right click on your eb.exe, go to properties and add -mod:eb to the target, click ok and you should be able to load EB.

It should be totally idiot-proof...
