Soul Crushing CTDs After Large Battles

It's happened to me several times now after heroic victories that took me over an hour to play out. Then I'm left sitting their saying, ok, should I fight that entire friggin battle again now or what. I always save before fighting large battles now, btw.

This hasn't quite rendered the mod unplayable, but it's close. I don't think it's my pc because I've seen it reported as a problem here before and it only happens when their are many men on the field, like more than two full stacks. This is obviously the worst, most frustrating and insidious kind of CTD. It happens far too often.

Can anything at all be done to prevent this from occurring?

Hi, I assume, this happens, when the battle statistics at the end of your battles appears and when your trying to click it away?

It seems, its a common bug and not fixable, however, theres a workaround for it. Just wait, say 10 seconds, till you press the button to exit the finished battle and the ctd rate should not happen again. At least, that was the solution for my battle-ctds.

Thanks Storm, hopefully that'll work for me. Reading other threads here it seems this is a RTW problem rather than an EB problem. I'll just have to be patient and wait a bit after battles.

Jsx, did your waiting work out?Did 10 seconds waiting after battles solve this abnormal and excruciating CTDs?I am having the same problems?Any change for the better?
