What is your definition of intelligence?
Since this is the Science Forum, I take it you are asking for a scientific definition of intelligence.
The short answer is that there ain't no such definition. If you think I should give a long one, then ask yourself this - Can you show me intelligence like you can show me, say, a cat on a mat.

Mikkel, that isn't very accurate, at least according to what I've read on the subject.
In psychology, and cognitive science, intelligence is a measure of cognitive skill. This is mostly how quickly people can spot patterns, solve puzzles and solve long mathematical problems. It is of little use in determining whether a person is a genius, smart, or gifted.
Yes, I know, you are right how quick is an empirical objective fact, but the point is that in broad sense cognitive skill are subjective and beyond that we can observe that humans are different and put number on that, what it means as humans to humans is subjective. Science stop at the quantitative difference and has not to say about quality.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."
