Hotseat Defense Autoresolve
I just wanted to ask about this and get some tech help.
My friend and I are playing a hotseat game dwarves and silvian elves. When the computer attacks us on its turn it auto resolves it and we always lose seemingly no matter our numbers. I have autoresolve turned off yet when we are playing defense we can never get the chance to fight and we lose armies.
I wanted to know how to fix this.

Re: Hotseat Defense Autoresolve
Alright, Its just kinda lame when they give you an option to turn auto-resolve off but it really doesn't turn it off at all unless you are attacking. my friend is very new to the game so its cost him quite a few battles and time, even a few cities.
We will just have to keep on the attack at all times every turn somehow.

Re: Hotseat Defense Autoresolve
It might be a good idea to start again as the Evil factions because auto resolve is biased towards them in this, not so sure why but thats probably whey you keep losing

Alright we will do that then. i just installed the patch so we will see how that goes. Thanks guys, I am guessing the auto-resolve thing is something that is in the game engine that cant be changed at any time?

Re: Hotseat Defense Autoresolve
I don't think that there is a way to fix this unless with some scripting. During a turn rotation you control no factions so it's going to auto-resolve like a computer. When the rotation gets back to your faction, control is transferred from the computer back to you. Same thing for other human controlled factions
