Quick question about spies
Hi guys,
I have a quick question, first, I'm playing Turkey h/vh.
My question is I just recruited a new spy, he started out "feeling his age" which since hes a spy also gives him +1 training agents. Ok so I figured great, and old spy guy will help me crank out better spies so I que another spy up. Next turn I get a regular spy, young & quietly observant. What happened to the +1 training agents? Am I going about this wrong?

Re: Quick question about spies
Quick update.
I've since created about 10 other spies from this same settlement where I have the old spy who is "feeling his age" and subsequently has "+1 training agents". None of the spies I've created have anything special nor have I noticed that they are coming out with higher "NaturalSpySkill". At one point I had 3 old spies with that same "+1 training agents" and none of the spies that came out were anything special.
If no one knows the answer perhaps you can point me in the right direction so I can find this out. Until then I am going to assume older, "new" spies are useless and will promptly send them to do a mission impossible.

Re: Quick question about spies
I think you're right in that assumption, an older new spy is rarely worth having. I don't know what is meant with this "+1 training agents"... I suppose it would mean that as a result of his advanced years his apptitude for spying is higher. I doubt it has anything to do with training other agents... but I see what you mean, it is ambiguous like that.
