Icon5 What is the meaning of Adūnabār?

A great mod build upon the great era, It is no amazing to see the Nśmenóreans have divided again and some guys fall to darkness, it is very excited to see a human claim the Dark Lord title. But why they call themselves Adūnabār? What is the meaning of this word?

In any case, 'Adūn' means 'west'. 'Abar' might come from 'bar', which means home/house, either of a person or of an entire people. So it would probably mean 'Nation of the West', or 'Western Kingdom'.

Adunabar believes that the line of Elsessar has failed Dunedain and they wnat to restore "the glory of old". Hence Earendil's star, as it also predates the White Tree.

No they can not and why should they?
In the latest release one can't recruit elven or dwarven units, but Rohan has a unique dwarven and
    RK a unique elven unit.

well rk can recruit elves aand seeing as how adunabar have a good/evil branching system it wud make perfect sense to make them able to recruit elves if they choose men of the west as their religion/culture (men of the west being what RK follows fyi)

They are an interesting faction indeed. They have a difficult start, though. The Reunited Kingdom siege their capital with a mighty army already on the second turn. Any suggestion here? Should I try to collect my units and try an ambush?

    edit:some grammar...

Of course they have one singular very unique elven unit which can't be recruited or retrained, that's the reason i wrote 'unique'

i've only bn playing as adunabar atm toh, but i saw this on the fatw website

    MEZoRS

The Middle-earth Zone of Recruitment System has been designed like no other. As you would expect with any good ZoR system, units are not immediately able to be recruited as soon as you capture a foreign region but certain local levies drawn from the conquered population may be; you will need to build your own recruitment buildings in order to start training and recruiting your own troops. MEZoRS discriminates between the Mannish, Elven, Orkish and Dwarven races. It establishes up to three types of region per faction (homelands, fiefdoms and outlands) taking into account old loyalties as well as old hatreds. It allows for the deepening of loyalty among local levies but also restricts the building of certain troops that might be available in your faction's homelands.

it mentions the elves and dwarves so thought tht they wud be recruitable in certain regions

    Hold it!
Seriously Minas Ithil is your key defensive position!
It's crucial to defend it and it's not that hard, besides the fact that you've to fight siegedefences nearly
every turn, but hey, it's Total War

What do you mean by it's not that hard? Are they going to try to assault the city? Or will they try to starve it (in which case I will have to fight on open ground with an inferior army)?

They'll try to assault the city.
They'll -at least they do so in my campagne vh/vh- siege you for 2 rounds to build up enough siege-
equipment and then assault in the 3rd round. If you've sufficient numbers of archers in your defending
army, then it's a good idea to sally out as soon as they besiege you, your archers get a range bonus on
the walls, so you'll take losses, but you can extinguish there archers, which is crucial, the rest dies as
    hard as every gondorian soldier
