DVD will not read
The M2TW DVD will read, but when I insert the Kingdoms DVD into my drive, it makes an odd noise and doesn;t read it at all (not in windows explorer). Is there anything on the Kingdoms Disc that isn't on M2TW, short of the extra campaigns?

Re: DVD will not read
Medieval2 will play alone. Kingdoms has all the Medieval2 updates as wellas the Kingdoms campaigns. It could just be a bad dvd. Do you have another computer you try it in?

Re: DVD will not read
I understand that Medieval will play alone, as I have been playing it for a few days now. I tried the Kingdoms expansion disc last night, and it just wouldn't read. Is there anything in the Kingdoms expansion that adds units or anything else to the regular game's campaign, or is it only the four new campaigns? I will be trying the Disc in another drive to make sure it isn't faulty.

Re: DVD will not read
Nakharar, thanks for the advice; however, I have tried that, as well as uninstalling my drive, rebooting, and trying it all over again. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked for the Kingdoms disc, though the M2TW disc works fine, and I have been trying for an hour straight. I am going to try the disc in another machine, and, if it doesn't work, I will contact SEGA for a new disc.
Now, can anyone answer my question:
Is there anything in the Kingdoms expansion that adds units or anything else to the regular game's campaign, or is it only the four new campaigns?

Re: DVD will not read
Alcohol120% and Nero just killed your chances of installinf Kingdoms. The copy protection of this game is Securom and Securom deems possible illegal activity. You will get some strange errors out of the blue and no explanation why.
You uninstall them you have a chance. You reinstall them after you install Kingdoms, you have a very good chance of strange behavior from the including refusing to run.
It's your choice and Sega doesn't care.
Because of these being against the ToS of this site I am obliged to close this thread.
