    Default Questions for Reenacters

Could someone please provide some links to sites that sell period military uniforms and weapons? I found several sites that sell non working replicas of muskets but I'm looking for the real thing.

    Thanks.

Thanks. I wasn't sure where I should post it. Could a moderator move it please?

You need to PM a moderator to move it for you. It will happen sooner if you do. The moderators for this part of the forum should be shown at the foot of the screen (for the forum not the thread).

What "period" exactly? You mention muskets, but you might want to narrow it down quite a bit. There are many, many online suppliers for any period you care to mention. Google "re-enactment suppliers" and you;'ll get more links than you'll know what to do with.

This site alone gives you links to dozens of suppliers for just about any period of history.

Didn't it occur to you to simply do a Google search? Not exactly rocket science ...

I meant 18th century. This was originally posted in the ETW forums so I didn't specify. I did a google search. I just thought I'd ask here since I like this community (mostly). Most people here don't act like jerks.

This "Jerk" gave you a link to several dozen sites for suppliers of 18th Century costume, weapons and accessories. You're welcome.

No, thiudareiks hates people who are less intelligent than him, sometimes its amusing, most of the time he just comes off as an angry old man.

Get real. The guy asked a question that could be answered by a simple Google search. I did one for him, kindly gave him a good source of hundreds of relevant links, and noted that he could have done this himself. All pretty mild really.

I don't "hate people who are less intelligent than me". But if people ask dumb questions I'll answer them and then point out that they were pretty dumb questions. I don't think doing otherwise is doing anyone any favours.
