Default Kingdom of Men in the old days - map anyone?

So (like most ppl playing gondor / eriador i guess) i want to put a little bit of lore into the plain "hold 50 regions", by uniting the Provinces once part of the kingdom of men.

Its been a while since i last read lotr, and even longer since i read the silmarillion, so i dont know much about the greatest expanse of the human kingdom(s) and which lands there are rightfully to "reclaim".

Long Story short: Is there a map showing the human kingdoms at their greatest extent?

Didn't Gondor stretch further south than that in its glory days? Thought they had Umbar.

Then the correct map would be that one plus all regions north of Umbar? (Near Harad mostly). Would it be?

Why is the Tech development of middle earth so painfully slow?
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Its not only slow, its kind of backwards, with literally everything in the old days being better, stronger and whatnot...

Guess with all those orcs & constant dangers roaming around, there is no time for renessaince and humanism

Orcs represent industry and the new age of industry. the industrial age is a time many philosophers and literary wirters refer to as the death of men lol... or real men and the age of industry and machine. Remember when Saruman was saying that the world will be overwhelmed by the orc the machine and industry. I think Tolkien was making a cultural/social statement with orcs, the same one that John Norman makes with his books about Gor. The age of Men has fallen with the age of the machine (the orc)

With the little but severe difference that Tolkien never wrote the line your quoting to be said by Saruman in the Movies It's a PJ based line.

True, but the mentality of it still remains the same, a culture that is made through what seems to be industrial means and sent to kill all middle earth so Saruman can cut down the rest of the forest and fuel his devices.

Wasn't Middle Earth suppoced to be some kind of mythical history of this world before the Ice ages?
Could be wrong about this though.

The only ones who have gone technologically backwards are the kingdoms in exile (Gondor and what is left of Arnor). Wonder if there was any explanation regarding that in the books, been ages since I read them.

    Orcs invent the AK 3A(ge)
    Gondor invent M16
Rhun and Harad use the AK
Isengard use AKs and suecide bombers
Elves invent their own Snipers and politics.
    Rohan stay with their horses
    Hobbits keep on their ignorence
