Default Best mod I've played so far, question about havning multiple temples built in 1 city

As the title suggest, has anyone here tried it or know how to mod it? I have been looking through these forums to find perhaps, past threads asking about it but I don't think anyone has taken it on as an endeavor.

If someone knows how it would be really helpful, I realize it might be game unbalancing, but I was thinking it might be cool to construct all the temples in say.. Rome. Thank you for reading this.

I have been playing RS for about 2 weeks now, I really enjoy the Romans and find the Seleucids to offer a considerable challenge on Hard/Hard compared to other mods. So thank you for providing us with this free and fun RS mod.

You know... you could wait for Roma Surrectum II which is to be released in the near future (few months from now ), and it will have, among a lot of other great things, the possibility of building up to 4 temples in each city

Well... it could be said that I'm being optimistic, but I do remember one of the members of RS team saying that RS 2 isn't far from completion and that it's just a matter of a few months.

Few: In Roma Surrectum, 'few' indicates a currently unknown amount of something. 'Few' is inferior to 'many' in quantity, whereby the amount 'many' is an unknown amount as well, although certainly superior to 'few'. The RS team does not guarantee that 'few' is inferior to infinity, but if it is not, then 'many' is certainly equal or superior to infinity.
Used in correlation with time units, such as days, weeks or months, 'few x' indicates a currently unknown duration. 'Few x' is often used in a similar context to 'soon', since both refer to a shorter duration than 'when it's done', whereby 'when it's done' may or may not happen before the end of time.

Being optimistic, I am hoping that "few" means something like 2-3 months, since I graduate university in about that much time, afterwhich I'll have a lot more spare time. Imagine that now, I am playing RS along with both university and work, and in 2-3 months, the university time consumer goes away.

But, I must apologize. Of course, I don't know when RS II will be released, I am merely hoping and speculating and I might just be wrong. RS2 will have a lot of great features, which is why I'm avoiding starting a new campaign after just having completed the Pergamum one, because I'm saving my time for when RS2 appears. RS2 will allow, as dvk revealed, building up to 4 temples in each city, and the temples system is to be rethought for RS2, so if you wish, you can wait until RS2 is released, just play as it is now or wait for the better version.

But, if you do not wish to wait, there certainly are solutions to the op question and I apologize for going off-topic. So, I hope that along with answering my babblings (or ignoring them altogether ), it would be great if anyone could answer the op question. There certainly is an answer to it, I just don't know it.

Well, if you complete a post-graduate course it's fairly certain RS II will have been released by then.....

I'd suggest starting another RS1.5c campaign. I've been beta testing Pergamum in the beta - it's fun and very nice to look at.

    Thanks for the replies guys

I saw that they were working on RSII that looks exciting.

I guess this is a hard endevour there isn't much out on the internet either.

Does anyone know where the trigger is located, that removes the other temples from the Construction browser after you constructed one temple? Maybe this is the first step to solving this mystery.

The Temples in RTW are far more complicated than just 'removing a trigger'. They are written into the EXE, the advice files, the traits and ancilliareis files, the buildings files, the settlement plan...basically, all over the place. It took me weeks to get rid of them all except for the 'Temple of Battle'....which is the one written into the settlement plan (that makes the building show up in cities). That done, we were able to add as many as we wanted, and allow building as many as we like.

It would not be a task for the timid..believe me.

If you find yourself alone in front of a PC, watching the legions of Rome marching in the green fields with the sun on their faces, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium, and RS 2.0 has been released!

You could ask this on the RTR forum, because they've done it for their mod, and then you could try to apply it to RS.

Of course there is. Descriptions and building icons can be changed to whatever we want.
