Default Any way to use SS's unit roster?

I love the gameplay features incorporated into the DLV mod, however I prefer SS's unit roster. Is there any way I can mod DLV to use SS units?

I assume I'll need to copy export_descr_buildings.txt, export_descr_units.txt, UI, and battle_models.modeldb from SS to DLV. Is there anything else I would need to do?

I don't think you'll get much help with that, DLVers like to keep their powder dry.
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

im sorry, but what i meant.. before... XDDDD

oh crap... i cant put my serious face on... well.. ehmmm

the thing is, you have more chances of easy success by trying to carry DLV´s RPG´s system and events into SS than doing what you said.

i mean, that work would be just... too much.

and no.. there are not only 3 files that relates on which factions you got to play, which units they get, where are they at start, their models, animations...

i mean.. the list ramp up till it gets parallel with infinite

You're right, there are so many issues to deal with (e.g. DLV and SS don't have the same faction list, etc). I think I'd be better off picking out a few units I prefer in SS and then adding them into DLV.
