    Meh.
    Nothing new here, sadly.
All the plot twists you see coming from a mile away.

Well, this movie reaffirmed my worse fears about Humanity.

    A. Humans are selfish creatures
    B. Humans are predictable.
    C. Mediocre films can have promising beginnings

Well, I guess Winona feels old

Liked the movie in general.. they have gone a long way to try to recreate the dystopian atmosphere of the original Blade Runner, with varying results.. there are some strong Fallout vibes here and there, which were not into the first movie.

The cast is exceptional, but that does not mean acting is. Gosling does a good job, Ana de Armas' character it's pretty meh, did not offer her much opportunity to emerge... they could have avoided to call back Harrison Ford, his part is really minor and has been used just as an "excuse" to have Deckard's character back. Jared Leto.. I dunno why they insist to cast the man, to me it feels like every character he plays has the same flat expression, honestly I've not been impressed by his performance at all. I regret that they gave to Bautista such a short part to play.

In general I feel like this movie is a lost opportunity.. I mean, there's a whole world to unravel in that "universe" and I think they would have done better if they focused more on that than on trying to desperately found a connection to the previous movie, just for the sake of having Ford in this one too.

Bautista is awesome as an actor
I haven't watched any of the Blade Runner movies. I have read the novel they are supposedly (loosely) based on.

    Well, this was dark.
    Darker than the Road.

I still don't know what exactly is out there.
    But it's definitely something.

The Road was an experience, so to say... Viggo was quite good too (alas, sadly Aragorn follows him everywhere he goes). it's a must watch if you are a dad with responsibility issues, it will show you to what extent a father can go when it's really needed to.

Luckily for me, I am not a Dad.

May December: might appeal to a niche audience I am not a part of. Good acting from Portman and Moore.

Very well made and deeply sarcastic (or whatever) but it wasn´t for me either.

The holdovers: I am a fan of Paul Giamatti and once again he was perfectly cast and delivered a great performance, so did the rest of the crew. Unfortunately the movie itself is a big meh.

Witness the retail version of the Nice Guys.
Shane Black honed in his writing skills on this one.
Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans have ZERO chemistry.
So much so that it's hilarious.

Here's to rehashing old tropes and adding nothing new to the table.
