Any decent horror film to suggest, from 2023 or 2020-2023?

    The Prestige (2006)

Quite a tragic and tough story but at least the ending has a lot of spice.

A Quiet Place Part II was from 2020.

    Maybe give this a shot?

    FROM

Not a fan of opened endings but here we go.
    So many unanswered questions.

Have to admit that this series was kinda smart, up to a point.
Monsters were pretty convincing, in an eerie sort of way.
I like how they smile & walk.

    Misanthrope / To Catch a Killer (2023)

It depends on heavy feelings but it was a good watch.

Lord Penguin: I will have a look.

I watched Misanthrope too. When even your title is changed, you can tell that this is more of a mannequin that was used to hold crude clothes to be marketed I liked parts, but (imo) the ending is just stupid.

    Boston Strangler

    Grim & realistic.
    Mindhunter style.
Nice to see women working & solving the puzzle.
Keyra Knightley was commendable in this one.

    Shooters

    Best gangster movie ever!
    Featuring: actual gangsters.
No script, much of the lines were improvised by the 'experts'.

One of the main actors is actually in jail. Hope he's alright.

    If they don't act it's not a movie, it's a documentary

Not since Apocalypto has a chase movie kept me this engaged.
    Inspired by multiple true stories.

Saw it yesterday and wasn't impressed. Tick box movie.

GR is not in his best form atm, i found "operation fortitude" uninspired as well.

Ben Affleck as a math savant?
That's quite the step up from the builder friend of one.

    The Artifice Girl

Basically, this movie brings nothing new to the table.
Except a philosophical discussion about the social and moral implications of A.I.
So, try it if you have some time to waste.

I love the end of 70's/early 80's.. I mean look at the cigar and the obvious shape of the gun, those where merrier and less prudent times.

    BoJack Horseman

This show is really funny and really bleak and forces me to take a long hard look at myself.
    Yay.

Just finished Season 1. Episode 11 is simultaneously a drug induced fantasy & a masterpiece in animation and editing.
