    Kompromat (2022)

In general, I liked it. Just the ending was a bit raw for me.

    Oh yeah?

    You mean, it didn't have
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
two strong female leads taking out the main antagonist?
Funny, they did the exact same thing in the last Halloween

    Bodies Bodies Bodies

Not great but certainly not as bad as Halloween Ends.
Gets downright psychoanalytical towards the end.

    Conclusion is hilarious.
    8/10.

halloween ends doesn't suck because the two main michael's antagonists (they are not even "strong") are women. That's all I wanted to say and I guess it's not even debatable.

Pearl: 3/5, Mia Goth is awesome.

    Yeah, whatever you say, chief.

    The Infernal Machine

    Good, not great, but decent.

I am watching the new Beavis and Butthead series. It's ok, but more middle-aged Beavis and Butthead episodes would have been preferable imo

    Old Man

Colonel Quaritch in a log cabin.
Just Stephen Lang being his jolly, monstrous self.

Wonder if I'll end up like this: in my PJ's, in some cabin somewhere, just waiting for some random salesman to entertain me...

Ticket to paradise, Roberts/Clooney, awful. I saw it after hearing a lot of people say it was the way to revive classic/quality rom-coms on a low (relatively) budget. the horror.

    So bad, it's worse.

Avoid this movie if you like plot, drama and well-rounded characters.
It started well but it deflated really fast.

Vinessa Shaw is the perfect mother.

Now, as much as I hate Pete Davidson, this was cute.
    Real cute.

    Very suspenseful, very long.
    Slept through most of it.

    Barbarian (2022).
Imo it was meh. Rather forced/stitched up act2, weak resolution, not memorable antagonist.

    Elvis (2022)

What kind of a traumatic seizure inducing spastic editing mess was this?!
    Tik-Tok movie for a Tik-Tok generation.

    The King deserved better.

    Lost Highway (1997)

It had some good moments but overally it wasn't worthwhile.
