News of the world: western with Tom Hanks, well made but the story is not inspiring nor very interesting.

    Kidding: season 2.

    Jim Carrey rocks.
    Judy Greer is the bomb.
    Frank Langella was amazing.

    The kid is okay too.

    Sonny Boy, Netherlands 2011

Watched a second time. Brilliant movie. Shows lively barbarism and humanity. Based on a true story.
A movie that should be material and theme in every school.

    Official trailer

Full movie, stream until 1st Feb 2021, German language version.

Iirc., already 2013 i spoke of "Renaissance of Fascism", it was accurate.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Great for foodies and people interested in history and culture. In the right conditions, truly mesmerizing.
Of these facts there cannot be any shadow of doubt: for instance, that civil society was renovated in every part by Christian institutions; that in the strength of that renewal the human race was lifted up to better things-nay, that it was brought back from death to life, and to so excellent a life that nothing more perfect had been known before, or will come to be known in the ages that have yet to be. - Pope Leo XIII

Is the Belle from Delphi also an influencer or just an information-age version of a porn-star?

That was a bizarre movie. I have to suppose it wasn't trying to be realistic. I am not sure what the point of it all was either - religion is bad, mkay?

    Grace and Frankie

    Very funny!
Cause tomorrow is a brand-new day
And tomorrow you'll be on your way
Don't give a damn about what other people say
Because tomorrow is a brand-new day

    The Empty Man (2020)
Apparently adapted from a graphic novel.
It wasn't bad. (not great either)

    Mosul

Best war movie I've seen in a while.
Also, it's the first ever Arabic language movie with an Iraqi dialect produced by Netflix.
    Flawless characterization.
    Produced by the Russo Bros.

    The Indian Runner

Sean Penn coming to grips with his anger and antisocial behavior by creating Viggo Mortensen's character.
Includes one of the scariest scenes in movie history.
And all it has in, is peas.

I care a lot black comedy, wasted dialog to explain the self explanatory and some OTT characters spoil a good scenario.
