Tiger King
5,000 - 10,000 tigers live in captivity in the U.S.
Fewer than 4,000 tigers remain in the wild.
Murica.

I enjoyed that, obviously.
The invisible man: even though it's classical thriller and you'll see most things coming miles away, it's brilliantly made. You know what's in the box but the wrapping paper makes it most welcomed.
The Outsider
Meh.
At the beginning, this was interesting. Then it started to lose momentum and slowly turned into a dud.

It's like the author gave up towards the end.
But then again, it's Stephen King.
Namhansanseong (The Fortress)
Well, this was depressing.
Things get from bad to worse.
You know?
Like life.
Highly recommend if you're a history buff
The Hidden Blade
Beautiful.
The conflict between old and new, corrupt and pure, lowborn and highborn.
20/10
The Mountain (1956)
My Dad loves classics, so I've become partial to them, too. He had this one recorded off our cable and we sat down with Mum to watch it tonight. Overall, it was enjoyable, but in terms of storytelling, it left a lot to be desired. Spencer Tracey was great in the lead role. Robert Wagner, on the other hand, played a very one-dimensional, unevolving character; whether that's just the way the story was meant to go, I don't know. Some of the visuals were really good for such an old film, but I won't be going back to this one. Worth seeing, but only just.
2/5.
Skylines
Best series I've seen in a while.
Featuring the Kurdish-German Tupac.
And a Genie.
Gangs of London episode 1. Directed by Gareth Evans and it shows. Great action and fight scenes.
Just finished American Hustle.
Christian Bale is as good as ever. Crazy to see how much he can alter his appearance from performance to performance.

Memento
Great bloody movie.
Even after 20 years.
Saw it in 3 days.
Chris D'Elia: No Pain 2020
The man was on fire.
You must see this.
You must know the truth about dolphins.
And Tupac.
Straight Outta Compton
This movie is the bomb.
They got everybody right, casting-wise, except for Snoopp.
Dude didn't looked like him, only sounded like him.
Great movie.
I watched Murder By Numbers (2002) last night. It was okay. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Gosling were good; Gosling in particular was very interesting for an early role of his. It was kind of weirdly structured as a film. The "prologue" made it abundantly clear what it was all about, so there wasn't much mystery for what is a thriller.
2.5/5.
Westworld S03
Gone are the days of intricate conspiracies.
Now we get cheap thrills and major characters killed off in silly circumstances.
This feels like Disney's Star Wars.
The Boys
Freaking bloody brilliant.
Jumped on the hype train a bit late (one year, to be exact) but it was worth it.
This series has it all:
-unique characters
-character development
-twist ending
I mean, it doesn't get any better than this.
It took Watchmen concept and blew it out of the water.
The End of the ing World
What can I say?
Sometimes we yell like Alyssa, other times we shut up like James.
I've binged & binged & now I can't forget.
The Two Popes, a bit of a lefty apologist film at times but overall very well done. Great acting, decent writing, plus spoken Latin.
