    Captain Marvel

Brie Larson's blank face, Brie Larson's blank stare, Brie Larson's blank jokes.
Brie Larson just showering us with mediocrity.

    I don't even mind that's Captain Marvel's a woman.
    I mind that she's a self-righteous, self-centered idiot.
    You know, like Brie Larson

This movie was made just to explain why Carol Danvers is so incredibly strong & witty & charming & sarcastic & self-controlled.
    Oh, give me a break

    Being Ginger

Being bullied for one's appearance is not fun. It's also one of the most stupidest things we can do to another human.
This movie made me realize profound truths about my life.
It's also about a guy who looks like a young Tywin Lannister and doesn't act like it at all.

Going to watch it now. Bored at the office.

    Edit:
Decent film. Nothing spectacular but still worth a watch without getting bored from it.

Indeed. An apt summation of this film
It did have some nice visuals, though.

    Avengers: Endgame

    Pretty decent
    Pretty good, actually

I am eternally grateful for seeing this
It's also an action figure, if you guys are interested

Watch When they see us. Best thing I have seen in 2019.

    Godzilla: King of Monsters

Too much CGI & Deus Ex Machina's.
God damned characters have +10.000 luck & charm to avoid death so many times
    Meh.

    Masterminds

    Pretty good comedy.
    And I only watch horror

Kelly: Oh my gosh! David, let me see! That bullet just went straight between your cheeks!
David: Yeah, it feels like it just grazed my biscuits, right there, betwixt 'em.

Just saw the new Aladin... That was some fun.
Yasmin going Elsa was a litte bit annoying. Will Smith did an excellent Job.

Imo Zach overdoes it with the southern hick persona I think he is a good comedian, but perhaps a bit overrated (?)

    Get Carter 2000

Good to see Stallone in his prime here. His face was still moving.
There a few good lines here & there plus a load of tilted Dutch camera angles, typical of 90's action.
    I prefer the old one:

    Get Carter 1971

Because no one can do a Cockney accent like Sir Michael Caine.

    Downsizing

Came here for Matt Damon's 'explosive charisma'.
Stayed for an angry Vietnamese protestor with one leg.
Proves to show you can make a good character work with limited use of English in her vocabulary.

    The Con is ON

    Brilliant, insane movie.
If you need to hate the rich and their 'problems', this is the one for you.
Plus there are some beauties in it:

Uma Thurman, Alice Eve, Maggie Q, Parker Posie just to name a few.

    Dark

'Hurry up, there's no time to explain!'

Season 2 brings even more questions as Season 1.
    I mean:

I get the whole 'Being your own Grandad' Paradox is a thing but still...
at times, this felt like a soap-opera.

Everyone from the future & past knows everything while everyone from the present is clueless.
    Like me.

Sometimes, this gets on your nerves.

    Truth or Dare (2018)
An ok movie. Something like a less stylish version of It Follows, but overall not bad, imo.

Best superhero film I saw in a while.
    No really, I'm serious!

Just wished they brought Black Adam, I mean:

    On Chesil Beach

If you went through a break-up, need closure and keep wondering 'What if?' watch this.
    It will cure you.

    Or not.

Some people don't know when to talk or when to shut up.
She tried though. She really tried. Like a good Libra.
    Definitely.

    21 Jump Street

Had a bunch of time to kill so I went for this.
First 20 minutes are awesome, then it becomes stale.
    The teacher was nice tho.

    22 Jump Street

Glad they've stopped at this one.
Felt kinda better than the first.
Or you could just watch the end credits scene.
    You welcome.

I just watched two shows on Netflix lately, the third season of Stranger Things and several episodes of Africa by BBC Natural History.

    Crumb

And I thought my family was crazy...

This cuts a little too close to home. Watching Robert Crumb's family & brothers talk about their mental illnesses made me understand a little more about myself.
Watch this if you're interested in Underground comics & the 60's counterculture.
    I didn't find this movie.
    It found me.

P.S: I like how he threw all his violence on the pages, man!
