The Omen (1976? the first one).

I wanted to like it, and i hadn't seen it before. But other than the first good scene
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    governess hanging herself
    i really didn't see anything that nice/interesting :/

The Exorcist didn't come out that many years later (3?) but was a lot more interesting, imo.

    A dark song (2016)

British "horror" film. 1 hour and 40 minutes of pretty much nothing, concluded by a rather insulting scene. To be avoided

    Clash of the Titans! (2010)

Up to now i knew only of the infamous RELEASE THE KRACKEN!!!! scene, but
actually this is a pretty cool movie

Ok, they maim the myth, but i didn't know it has Ser Davos, Danish Hannibal, and even Ralph Fiennes (with an awesome opening scene as Hades).

Moreover i wasn't aware that Hannibal is that tall. First time i saw his character i thought it was The Rock

Saw kong the skull island. Surprisingly, Peter jackson's film was actually better by a mile... which i thought was just ok.
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

Legend of the Sword - You definitely see elements of Guy Ritchie's directing and editing style, but also that of the Return of the King, Little Mermaid and the Great Wall.

It's an interesting take on the Arthurian mythos, and a snapshot of a character just lacking that last bit of motivation; unfortunately, every other character outside of Charlie's is a cypher, they're there as part of the background or to get the plot moving along.

I sort of enjoyed watching the movie, visually it was spectacular, the acting was okay, the fight sequences were okay, the dialogue was okay, but the story was basically crap.

    Worth a watch.

Covenant - You have to admit that in terms of prequels, Ridley Scott is better at it in terms of acting, editing and cinematography than Lucas. However, storywise Star Wars makes more sense, in that what seems a sort of random encounter becomes a some sort of Wagnerian cycle in that we become the authors of own potential destruction.

I enjoyed watching the first half hour, which somehow reminded me of 2010, assuming that rescue attempt went badly wrong; then it looks like a rehash of Aliens.

It's a worth a watch, even it's not actually horror, just possibly a horrible retcon.

Just rewatched Generation Kill, I had forgotten how great that show was, probably the most accurate portrayal of modern warfare ever made. The show dont have an obvius agenda other than portray the life of a modern soldier, the rediculusness of it all. And its so goddamn realistic in its portrayal of actual soldiers of different ranks and their interractions with each other. Says a lot when the most outlandish character in the show is an actual marine playing himself.

Last time I watched it, I was in the army eight years ago (we was trained as a recon soldiers as well) , and we completely related to the show. Not the warfare part, but the retarded rules, the stupid and unintentionally comically inept officers, the humor and the general situation that you just have to endure. Great show. And if you havent watched it, do.

    It Stains the Sands Red

A simple story between a Blonde & a Zombie, walking in the desert.
Best movie I've seen in a while.

    Memorable scene:

-when Molly's still being followed by Smalls, in the desert. Slowest chase in the history of cinema.

    Molly:
'You're just like every guy that I ever met at a bar. Girl says 'No' , guy can't take a ing hint.
    You're all ing gross.'

    Colossal - waste of time.

I love watching Anne Hathaway, but this movie was mediocre; I think someone came up with the ending after watching Pacific Rim, and tried to build up the backstory, which was very unconvincing.

    Skippable.

    Valhalla rising (2008)

A bad movie. Not sure if it meant something, but even if it did it would still be dumb.

    The Haunting (1965?)

Well, can't say i liked it much. 6/10?

Batman And Harley Quinn - The Animated Series, but for adults.

It's a brilliant movie, with clever dialogue and despite the goofiness, the character portrayals seem spot on, though I suppose Nightwing and Starfire were on a break.

The animation sucks for this day and age.

    Still, must see teevee.

Oh yeah, it appears that Harley's Jewish.

The Freemaker Adventures - Second season concludes with the destruction of the second Death Star.

It's a kids show that markets Lego bricks, but I enjoy it, since the producers know you need an entertaining story and really toned down Star Wars Robot Chicken sketches.

Disney tends to prefer three seasons, but it's hard to see how this show can continue, since Rowan's arc seems completed.

    Family fun.

Logan. While Jackman is a good actor, i detest superhero films, and ultimately didn't like this either.

    Εden Lake.

English horror tends to be utter garbage, and this was no different. Only the Descent was a good horror film from Britain, and Lord of Tears (Scotland)

It was so dull that i fast-forwarded 2/3 of the movie.

That summary for Season 1 or 2? I've only watched Season 1 and definitely didn't get that view (I assume about Rust Cohle?)

I watched a few episodes of the show The Shield, and me likee so far.
