Of these facts there cannot be any shadow of doubt: for instance, that civil society was renovated in every part by Christian institutions; that in the strength of that renewal the human race was lifted up to better things-nay, that it was brought back from death to life, and to so excellent a life that nothing more perfect had been known before, or will come to be known in the ages that have yet to be. - Pope Leo XIII

Just saw Wayne's world again, its funny because I knew a bunch of geeky rockers (it that's the right term) just like that, and they were lovely blokes.
The sequel was less funny, but contained one of the finest scenes in movies history.
Gordon street?
Jatte lambastes Calico Rat
I'm watching Brooklyn 99, thank you god for those little things.

Fun fact, that.
The Good Place
This is a cute show. Kinda goofy but funny if you’re into that sort of humor. Main reason I like it is it highlights the fundamental absurdity and injustice of the binary system presented to Christians. It’s what led me to resign any form of faith I ever theoretically had, if nothing else, as an act of theistic protest. So the show is humorous in a particularly validating way for me.

The Irishman.
Very, very long. But a very solid film overall, and if you could ignore the CGI well enough, it could definitely work out. But I couldn't finish it in one sitting, it was too much.
Ja mata, TosaInu. Forever remembered.

High life: bungling addicts rob a bank. It's fun and well acted for a low budget.
Mulan 2020
>nothing like the Disney cartoon, already not off to a good start
>camera work seems very amateurish
>fights are okay I guess
>why did they claim to be closer to the original story but then insert their own things?
>Mulan is a mary sue
>apparently they don't actually know anything about China or Mulan
>the theme of letting mary sue women do whatever they want wasn't even the actual theme of the story, rather that women ought to be able to lay down their lives and fight as men did if required to, not a very feminist message actually
The Twilight Zone 2019

Yeah, how about a tv-show that reminds you how stupid people get during a time of crisis?
Really dry humor here.
The type you throw out of an airlock.
No spoilers here.
Well, except for the Captain.
