Moral of the story: dreams die if you let them die.
After all, it's just art. Not such a big deal, right?

Update: if you're a struggling artist/ writer, this will probably give you minor anxiety.
The movie doesn't answer ANY of the questions it places upon the audience.

    Strange Darling

    Perfection.
    10/10.

    Tropes are subverted.
Clichés are turned on their heads.
Beware, nothing is what it seems.

what the hell does "From the makers of 300, The Martian and Maze Runner" mean?

(Director Osgood Perkins). I watched The Blackcoat's Daughter again today, the similarities with Longlegs are tremendous. It seems like it could have been a prequel (Hail Satan!). I don't like either of the two movies very much, by the way, I liked Gretel and Hansel a lot more if I remember correctly (I mean I might watch it again and find out it's crap).

I like Blackcoat's Daughter a lot. I was generally indifferent to Longlegs Cage had a couple of nice scenes in it, but overall the movie was empty.
BD is also a bit empty but at least it has more memorable scenes and a darker atmosphere imo.

    Must watch.
If you like Maori history, that is.

There are some nice battle scenes, but a bit too short.
    Kinda intense.

Looks like what's happening in my head sometimes.
    Liked everything about this.
    Even the dancing.

A thrilling ride, quite melancholic at times, kinda sinister in the middle, downright diabolical at the end.
