    A Man Called Otto (2022)

A good story about a complicated man in a bit complicated setting.

    Watched the Banshees of Inisherin.
Actually a very nice movie, but depressing. An allegory for the Irish civil war (which is also literally going on in the background of the movie).

Saw Tar. While the lead actress is great in this, I just didn't like the story.

Very nice & depressing at the same time.
    So many unlikable characters!
    I love it!

    Saw Resurrection (2022).

I liked it! But it does have some problems.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Imo they botched the ending. Although it wasn't entirely believable as a "made up a killer when she was 19" plot either, but still better than a vague unresolved middle allegory.

Saw two really horribly bad movies (both 2022) :

    -Deep Waters
-Last Seen Alive (or something like that)

Both were abysmal, with stupid plots filled with gaping holes. But I think that at least Last Seen Alive (starring King Leonidas) suffered likely from massive recut (maybe it was originally meant to be a "twist", but in the end they left it without the twist, but looks dumb and trivial). Deep Waters... really is just the cheapest romance novel, where nothing is real (all only works as fantasy). It's a second "Gone Girl", again with Affleck, and it managed to be even worse than Gone Girl.

    Some say it's a classic.

Old school western featuring the most well-behaved outlaw of all time and a very respectable and quite well-groomed harlot.
Also, some Apaches that can't shoot straight, apparently.

Very sanitized version of the Wild Wild West.

    Stagecoach

    Also White Lotus, Season 2.
    Great show!

Even better than the first season.
I laughed hard at some bits.
Not sure they were intended to be funny.

    Featuring my future wife:

The Best Offer (with that Shine actor, Jeffrey Rush)

Plot was bad, story was not believable. Too bad for Rush.

    Unexpectedly good.

Still a better love story than Twilight.

    The Truman Show

    Classic, still & always.
    Quite terrifying.
    Mainly because of this guy:
