Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016)
A bit silly but quite brilliant! Great peak into the wilderness of New Zealand!

Chris Rock: Selective Outrage
He started slow but he brought the fire towards the end.
HBO's Last of Us
Having NOT played the game, but watched every single dramatic cinematic on IZUNY, I have to say that...
this series proves that the zombie genre is well and truly dead.
I couldn't care less about being infected.
Honestly, at this point, I'm so desensitized to the concept that I found myself rooting for the Infected (they're just living their best life, you know?)
However, as pissed off as I was by the casting choices, I feel that:
A. Pedro Pascal brought a sensitive also bad ass raider Joel to life very well.
B. Bella Ramsey is a very convincing Ellie.
The production value was top notch and the action scenes are well coordinated.
This was better than Walking Dead (explains WHY the apocalypse happened in the first 10 minutes, doesn't waste time, lol)
and almost as good as Black Summer.
Anyway, I liked it.

My favorite character of the entire series
Such a fierce actor
Guy has depth
The Conjuring (2013)
Found it good thanks to the investigation not the scaryness.

The Equalizer 2
Better than the first.
Denzel is the kind of guy who drops by your house unannounced only to give you a beating afterwards and still be home for supper.

First victory of the Allies against Hitler.
English, French and Norwegian troops retook the city but the Germans took it back, after bombing it to ruins.
Victory was brief.
But out of all of Scandinavia, Norway held on the longest (2 months).
Missing (2023)
This is freaking intense!

What a coincidence! Neither have I.
Black Summer Season 2
More depressing than S01. I loved it.
Some people complaining about realism, I don't know, I think I like my zombies on Duracell / Redbull better than Romero's snail-fest.

Very long, kinda boring, mostly nonsensical.

Seems like a repeat for the first movie, but the formula doesn't work and the story jumps all over the place.
Why people flocked to this in cinemas, I will never understand
It was good spectacle. And it generally worked as long as you didn't put much thought into why things were as they were. You have two good examples, many more can be found.

MEH.
John Wick 4
So... many...headshots.
Honestly, at this point, I don't care about the franchise. It's obvious that Johnathan Wick is unkillable.
He is completely protected by plot armor & kevlar Armani suits.
Also, this movie has brought food on the tables of 500.000 stuntmen & their families.
Marathon of choreographed fight scenes that leaves you drained.
Totally drained.
Anyway, Keanu Reeves is almost 60.
Come on, Hollywood!
Give the guy a break...
