The Invisible Man (2020)
It's ok.
The Book of Boba Fett
I gotta say: I'm pretty disappointed in Boba Fett.
Old Boba doesn't do much.
Reasons of Disappointment:
1. He speaks too much.
2. Fennec Shand does most of his fighting for him.
3. He sucks at strategy.
4. He sucks at planning.
5. But he wants to be a daimyo (tee-hee)
Oh, did I mention he almost gets his Rancor killed?
You had one job, Boba!
How will this guy lead from now on is beyond me.
If Fennec Shand resigns, he's screwed.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Excellent!
Reacher: 7 episodes of wild goose chase and a disappointing finale. Average afternoon TV series at best, not worth that 8.4 IMDb rating, barely a 5.5 for me. I hope Amazon did a better job with rings of power.
Out of Time (2003)
One of the most compelling films I've seen in a while. The aftermath felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest but no biggie.
From: TV show a la Stephen king, 3 episodes out, looks ok so far, it's a mashup of horror shows.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
I hadn't seen any of the previous Holland's nor Garfield's Spider-Man films but I enjoyed it very much nonetheless.
The Handmaid's Tale.
Binge-watched this while off work last week.
Season: 1 - Grim.
Season: 2 - More Grim with added bleak.
Season: 3 - Glimmers of hope, but still grim AF.
Season: 4 - Some hope as things start to turn around.
Brilliant TV. The unrelenting brutality of a dystopian society driven by interpretations of the Old Testament and an unexplained and sudden inability to have children, mixed with a lack of any real morals or even a sniff of empathy. Especially the first two seasons, there are set up's where the tension is almost overwhelming, the visit to 'Wrigley field,' or the attempt to free a number of children, but it's the constant oppression that just adds a level of grim that few, if any, shows come close too. Imagine the plight of 'Sansa Stark' being spread over two seasons, without the respite of cutting to a brighter story arc somewhere else. It's almost surprising this show became so popular.
The cast is pretty outstanding too, Ann Dowd as aunt 'Lydia' is the personification of perceived good intentions turned evil.
Handmaid's tale is indeed great TV. I even bought the book, they did a superb job to expand the story as it covers only most of season 1. Pollution is the cause of a world wide infertility epidemic as well as food scarcity that lead to the republic of Gilead to take over most of the USA. It's 1984 for evangelists.

@John Doe.. Ah, I vaguely recall them mentioning the pollution, I missed it as the cause of infertility.
@MIB: As I was watching the series they mentioned one of the first things they (Sons of Jacob) did was freeze all women's bank accounts, on the news the same day (anti mandate) bank accounts in Canada were being frozen. Hmm indeed.
Peacemaker
Most Marvel-esque DC series ever.
Pretty good.
James Gunn's jokes do grate a little on the nerves.
Just like the invasion of Ukraine.
Overlord (2018)
War movie with a sick twist. I think it could have been better if it weren't so contained in the endgame.
The Grey (2011)
Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live and die on this day. Live and die on this day.
The Legend of Vox Machina
best D&D cartoon I've ever seen myself. Stylistically simile to "Invincible"

I found the film engaging, I don't have depression but the idea of caring for others as a way through a difficult life is inspiring. Melancholia (Lars the fun loving Dane) makes a similar point that sometimes mental illness prepares a person for devastation better than an easier life.
