    Default Future of Humanity

    ... morning all

When we expand our civilization to the Moon, Mars & beyond, what will humanity look like, do you think we would of evolved again? Would we look the Imperium of Man in Warahammer 40,000 or the Empire from Star Wars (God forbid )? Will we be negotiatable or expansionists? And will we find other advanced forms of life?

Just dicuss what the future could be like & maybe answer a few questions:
    1. Will the human nations actually unite under one,no exceptions, single, flag or be a confederation of nations working together?

2.Will we quickly cover our planet in cities eventually becoming one single city, if so what will you think will happen to other life forms?

... there are many others but i won't bore you. Play nice children
How far will I go for Rome? At least to the end of the street, I hate walking

    1. Humans co-existing under one banner...you must be joking lol. Seriously though, some humans can't even co-exist in their own country, nevermind co-exist as one single nation.

There won't be a confederation of nations working together either. The only way I can see humans actually uniting under one banner is if we are threatened as a species, even then i'd imagine you'd still have internal conflict.

    2. This would be horrible. I hope we find extra living space in the form of other planets when the time comes, rather than smuther the earth.

I think the future will probably just be the same as it is now, except the physical appearance of things might look different. The ideological aspect of humans will most likely still be the same though. It will be the rich countries who lead the way in exploration and the poor countries will still stay poor. It will also most likley be people from wealthy countries who eventually colonise other planets.

I mean in the far future, politics will change by then, but what would you want to happen or which of these two options seem likely if you haven't got a idea what could happen

Well it's a terrible truth to face, if humanity is to survive we need plenty of space (rofl-ing at the pun ), but as you said shifting to other planets is the best option at the moment

create a new form of life capable of taking on the rigors of long term space travel-- this would likely not be organic life but we could implement a design or desire within it to propegate and encourage natural organic ecosystems, while surviving itself upon lifeless worlds for fuel and building materials.

unless we make this; all our lives have been for nothing.
