i thought they were alright tbh, especially the prequal one (i like all the dark gothic architecture etc over the shooting, more .. immature? style of the other 2)

I liked the first one. It was a pleasant action vampire/werewolf movie. The 2nd movie was awful. So I didn't waste my time with the 3rd.

dont base the 3rd off the second (cos true, evolution was pretty pants..but still it wasnt like..terrible...)

I had low expectations for the first film, was pleasantly surprised that a movie toting around a plot about a war between werewolves and vampires wasn't as mind numbing as I thought it was gonna be.

Second one was pretty bad if I recall correctly...I've only seen it twice and around the time it came out, havn't seen it since.

And I havn't seen the 3rd one yet.

I could never understand why the vampires(well some of them) decided that it's best to go into hand-to-hand combat with a freaking werewolf.
And most of them didn't even fight, they just stood there hissing at them.
Oh I'm sure that werewolf is scared senseless by your hissing.
Kinda makes you wonder how the vampires could actually win the war.

Heh... I actually just wanted to point out that in the third movie, those vampires started to resemble more of a bat-people than anything I generally associate with these mythological creatures.
