Yeah, it's not Snaga specifically, it's the unit size. There's a thread on auto-resolve issues.

I find Snaga's weak imho. I can ride down a whole bunch of them with just a couple of generals real fast.![]()
well they are just slaves and the weakest units of the OoMM which have all around not the strongest units (beside trolls) so they should be weak
Snaga are pretty weak actually. Fought a battle with 300 horsemen from Rohan against 1500 Snaga, actually won...
Snaga javelineers are worthless scum, at least the archers have the range to actually kill something before hand to hand reaches them. Moment when they disappear....

snaga skirmishers are really quite tenacious. but i like that.
they are good and alrounding shocktroops. i just play rohan
and they are a great opponent in the beginning.
although the have more power, stamina and strenght like
humans they are really easy to beat with frighten them the
crap out of their dandruffy leather skin and make them rout.
flanking with cavalry and shocktroops is really effective for that.

I don't even flank with cavalry, one full on cavalry charge at the Snaga skirmishers is quite enough to rout the whole Isengard/OotMM army. We're talking 600 horseman charges
Now, if the orc generals had enough sense to actually put the Uruk-Hai troops in front and the Snaga at the back to be able to throw javelins, it wouldn't be this easy.
Yes, it could. The thing about flanking the enemy in this mod is that they don't just sit tight waiting for you to flank, once your cavalry gets close to them they send out units to assault the cavalry so you'd have to do a lot of babysitting to finally get your units behind the enemy to charge light units.
Then you must be playing a completely different mod than meYesterday I took Elrond and Glorfindel out of formation and just outflanked and charged the enemy in the rear utterly destroying them. While I was getting into position they enemy just walked calmly forward towards my infantry and archers.
Perhaps general's bodyguards are not recognized as cavalry? That would be strange though.![]()
Oh guys, I have yet to see an army composed entirely of snagas, for me it's all uruks and goblin infantry with some snaga support !

I find it very interesting that when I tell my cavalry to attack the archers they run around the arrchers head long into the enemy pikes...

In vanilla TATW Snaga have the Armor Piercing stat, which is why they kick dwarven ass. You should either remove it yourself, or wait for a patch or the RC submod to fix it.
Oh boy, getting kicked by snagas ! They're just subpar javelineers ! How could you let us dwarves fall that low !
As for pikes, just compare with basic game, you'll probably perceive some form of coherence. Or...
