'Alien skull' spotted on Mars

I am agreeing with the second quote here but it really does look like some form of skull.

To me its a rock thats vaguely skull like and odds are I'd have not seen that unless someone pointed it out to me.

But thats not a fun way to do this.

Lets approach it from its real.

What sort of animal would have a skill like that. Its extremely thick with some sort of bone/mineral plate, allowing only very small eyes completely recessed in this thick bone.

Biologically speaking it would be rather unlikely, and cumbersome but I suppose not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

But then think WHY would you develop such a skull and the immediate answer would be protection from something else bigger, sort of like a Triceratops.

But then that would imply a real ecosystem, something mars no longer has.....

Which would then mean its very old, and yet is in almost perfect shape.....

Which means, its a normal solid rock, not a fossil, as Mar's climate would not be conducive to long term skull preservation on an exposed surface.

I'll add it doesn't look like a skull, it looks like a face.

Moderate gravity.
Severe weather.

Odds are any larger life form would have some sort of internal support/armor.

Odds are it would also have something akin to a head (though not for sure).

As such a 'skull' of some kind would be very likely.
