    Is it possible to make the heavy uruks go into the tortise formation?

    i really miss the testudo formation.... I need to play RTW again....

    anyway, yeah, i wish there was a way to re-enable this formation

    Last I recall there was no way to use the turtle formation in M2TW. It's considered a "special" ability and those are hardcoded. You can add existing "special" formations to units but you cannot create new ones. Have not heard of anyone ever adding "new" abilities to M2TW.

    Well M2TW uses a (heavily) modified version of the RTW engine so it is probably still kicking around somewhere...

    There are relics of the testudo formation, EDU is an example of that. It would probably be possible to resurrect it somehow, but it would no doubt take a lot of work.

    adding in the testudo is one of the MTWII 'holy grails' like being able to choose your faction heir, many have tried without success. So after all this time, im sure if it could be done, itowould of been.

    It's doable, unfortunately you need to make a custom animation set.

    It' possible to decide on next heir-successor by manipulating who get's most authority from traits, making him automatically a king later. Royal blood line and other traits can be done as well. If you mean a simple pop-up window 'choose heir' then it's not possible.
