I was wondering how people like to start out their campaigns. Do you prefer to turtle and then build "super" armies to take over the world, or do prefer quickly recruiting mock-up armies in the beginning of the campaign and taking out weaker nations in the beginning?
Personally, I prefer a hybrid of these. I don't take many territories in the first quarter of the campaign usually, unless there is some good opportunity. For example, in the last campaign I played, which was Great Britain on VH/VH, New Orleans was taken by rebels and I seized the opprutunity to give me a starting point for my later conquest of southern North America. Oh, and I also prefer taking out Native Americans early. Other than those two things, I just build up my economy though. How about you guys?![]()
