Medieval 2 Kingdoms loading crashes

On the campaign map whenever there is a battle and try to play it the loading screen comes up fine and everything but about half way through loading it says that 'medieval total war has encountered an error and will now close' i am pretty sure that this only happens on the campiagn map battles. please help

your not the only one....
haven't found any solution for that yet, and i think there isn't one...

you have the EXACT same problem so i doubt you can fix that...

anyway, tried updating drivers? reinstall and install directly kingdoms, and let it patch form its own patches...

What are your computer specs and at what resolution are you trying to play? Have you tride with minimum resolution and no eyecandy?

I will try the battle at the lowest graphic settings and see how that works thanks

custom battles might work, make new campaings, lowest setting, and try from 1 vs 1 unit battle to 4 full banners battles (maybe not that much, you got the idea)
