I need the original DATA folder (from vanilla TATW)

Let me explain my situation, I just installed Real Combat mod and I didn't bothered to make any copies of my original data folder (because I'm cool like that, and cool people don't listen to instruction, nor read them =(...)

The mod is great, except that my once challenging Silvan Elves (that I loved) are now overpowered machines of death murdering everything before they can reach my spearmen (about 80% of their army is reduced to ashed). The once dreaded OoTM's trolls are now a joke and die in 2 volley from Sindar Archers.

To sum it up, my faction is now OP and all the good factions are winning their auto-fight because orcs/goblins got a lot weaker and good forces a lot stronger. I remember killing 800 orcs that tried to assault a city simply using Legolas and his bodyguard (yes, yes I know, it's Legolas but still...)

So, if someone is willing to send me his untouched TATW date folder, it would be greatly appreciated.

Real Combat really should be called "Elves Pwn Submod" but thats just my personal opinion. Just dl the mod again. With less people trying to get at it you should be able to dl it quick.

Mate, PJ's perception of Legolas being a super hero is currently making its way to every possible aspect of life. We are simply powerless to stop it, it's spreading like a virus! You could just wait for the new RC to be released, since I believe this has been adressed.

Lol, Elves in latest release are hardly 'pwnage'. Their economy is so broken that the AI is hopelessly bankrupt. I admit Umbar is too passive to change the course of war in favour of Mordor and that war between Dale and Rhun is pretty stagnant, but the biggest problem are Dwarves doing what they want with OOMM and Eriador spamming the Isenguard with numerous armies (even if it's just not-yet-balanced hobbit militia). If Isenguard doesn't kill Rohan and do something with either Gondor or Eriador, war is never to progress or OOMM will die out before 100th turn.

if you still have the donwloaded installers install it ohers place and then rename your old tatw to example tatw with rc and cut your fres instal to mtw2/mods folder and start as normally

@ Achilla in my campaign Eriador was so obsessed with killing Elves,that Isengard destroyed Rohan,nearly massacred Gondor and its territory included all Riddermark and almost all Gondor(that was before my Dwarves descended from the mountains )..so it depends...
