Heroes of Silvan Elves looks not good

can somebody patch the heroes of the silvan elves they looks like high elves but i think it better if they looks like sindar archer with a red cape not blue and than they must be an bowman

I was a little disappointed with the Silvan heroes also
The general should be using a bow not a sword and shield with heavy armour
When in the movies did you see Legolas or Haldir using them?

Haldir didn't fight in the books as far as I know. The whole elves at Helm's deep is a lie as well!

I just googled it and it turned out that their was no elves at Helms deep execpt Legolas
Peter Jackson only put them in because he wanted to show the sacrifice the elves made...right
The elves and the dwarves were already fighting the war in the north...isnt that sacrifice enough

Peter Jackson had the elves go to Helm's Deep because many people found the first movie boring, and he decided that elves were the single coolest thing he could add to his films to make them a success. This unfortunately led to Legolas becoming a superhero in the third movie, where he dispatched a Mumakil and its crew all by himself, after which he used the poor animal's trunk to skate down in pure elf fashion - oh, I forgot, didn't he do that in the second movie too? Damn, elves are so imba!

Wasn't Arwen at Helm's Deep at the time of the Uruk-Hai attack, and Peter Jackson took her out because he didn't want to give her fight scenes?

I thought Peter Jackson shot all 3 movies at the same time, in New Zeeland, for a 2 years period or some long years. I remember seen this mentioned int the news before the first one came out.

Im not trying to criticize the mod or anything
I actualy think its the best mod for kingdoms and the team did a great job on it
Is it realy a bad thing to point out things to the modders that could be changed?

I havnt read the books but unless im going blind im fairly sure I saw a few hundred elves including Legolas and Haldir on the walls of Helms deep in the movie

also as i recall from the book the only elf at helms deep was legoas. men won that battle not elves


i mean i personally liked peter jacksons addition of the elves to the battle but lore wise it did not happen.

the game is nice and the best mod i have ever seen and if they do something big like the mod than they can do the armour of the silvan elves heroes =)

It is impossible to give officers/generals/captains ranged weapons. The best thing would be to give them the 2H Elven sword that Haldir and the other Sentinels used at Helm's Deep.

Haldir was never at helms deep the only elf present at that battle was legolas

he is referring to the books guys.

in the texts, there was no elven army that arrived at helms deep.

it was rohan vs isengard. no help from elves.

movie had elves come... because elves are awesome... not because it was lore accurate

Haldir and his elves only arrives in the movies. In J.R.R Tolkien's book only Legolas is present at the battle of Helms Deep.
