all this dont do this, dont do that stuff. I can see how it ruins gameplay but I have been known to edit in a free army to this faction or free money to that one, just to see what they would do. But then I see a message that says in most ways not to cheat, by removing fow or whatnot as it might ruin the fun. Funny thing is that I might have done just that to see where everything is before you mentioned anything oh so smarty pants advisor. But I really am intrigued by the message not to cheat yourself money as it might have unintended consiquences.
Now I know how it sounds, but I don't typically cheat (for myself or the ai) the first time around. I do it when I want to see something new. That is the problem, now I have this inkling to do just that, gift myself a few hundred thousand gold to see if natural disasters start happening (ala Sim City)! So does anybody mind telling me what actually happens so I can save myself the grief and play the game as it was intended the first few times around?
